This piece is a Unakite Cabochon that I recently cut and polished for sale.
Unakite is a unique rock made up of the mineral Epidote and the rock Granite. The orange portions of the rock are the granite portions while the light green epidote fills in the cracks and voids of the rock creating a cool pattern throughout the stone.
I found the original stone while rockhunting in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan on a Lake Superior Beach.
The dimensions are 1.9"x 1.5"x .2", The weight is 18 grams.
