This is an Agatized Wood Pendant Stone that I recently made for sale.
I found the rough material while rock hunting in Northeast Wisconsin near the Potato river. The area is not particularly known for petrified wood there have been reports of people finding it throughout Iron County Wisconsin likely as a result of glacial transport.
This stone is translucent and displays a mossy pattern. The red streaks are likely a result of iron oxidation in the veins of the stone.
The weight is 80 carats or 16 grams.
